Experience the healing benefits of nature
Play. Explore. Empower.
Hi, I’m Haley (she/her)
MEd, RCC
As a counsellor, teacher, and outdoor enthusiast I am grateful to share with you all that nature has to offer. Raised on the beautiful BC coast, I have grown up with a deep love and appreciation for the healing benefits of the natural world.
I have been supporting children and youth for over a decade in various settings including community support programs, alternative education, and as a teacher and counsellor in the public school system. Through this work I have found a calm, compassionate and neuro-affirming approach that meets each person where they are at. Through Wild Crest’s therapeutic offerings, I aim to create a supportive space where clients can explore their inner worlds and become empowered through exploration and play.
I look forward to connecting with you,
Haley
At Wild Crest Counselling we work alongside nature to support individuals through life’s most rugged terrain. Through a person-centered and nature-based approach, our services and programs take place in the great outdoors, providing clients with an immersive experience to safely explore, reflect and connect with their inner landscapes.
With nature as co-therapist, Wild Crest offers 1:1 walk-and-talk sessions, social emotional learning, and mindfulness practices focused on somatic awareness and self regulation. We work with individuals, families and groups as part of an extended village of support, fostering connection with self, others, and the natural world.
To ensure our services are accessible, we meet with clients in nearby green spaces across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland to connect with the healing power of nature in a setting that suits your needs.
For those who prefer a warm and welcoming indoor space, sessions are also available at This World’s Ours Centre, located at 191 E 10th Ave. Vancouver, BC.
Welcome to Wild Crest
Our mission is to support clients in cultivating resilience and emotional well-being through personalized, nature-based therapeutic experiences.
Mission & Values
Rooted in Polyvagal Theory and nature-based practice, this work recognizes nature as an active co-therapist. We work together with nature, not just in it, allowing the natural environment to support nervous system regulation, self reflection, and emotional healing.
